Privacy notice

Save the decision, not a personal profile.

StackOZ keeps data collection narrow: comparison inputs, model results, a random browser identifier, and product-use events needed to improve the decision experience.

01

Comparison data

When you save a comparison, StackOZ stores your answers, ranked results, evidence version, and a random identifier generated in your browser. StackOZ does not ask for your newsletter subscriber list or import its contents.

02

Decision files

A saved result can create a downloadable JSON decision file. The file contains the same comparison profile and results shown to you; it does not contain subscriber records.

03

Measurement

StackOZ records events such as comparison engagement, completion, saves, and outbound provider clicks. These events are used to find friction and improve decision value—not to manufacture a score. Contact form submissions include your message, an optional reply email, and a page URL if supplied. Do not send subscriber data.

04

Browser storage

Your browser stores only a random visitor identifier so the site can find saved comparisons. Use the control below to delete the server records linked to that identifier before clearing storage.

05

Retention and deletion

Saved comparisons and linked events remain available until they are deleted through the browser control below or removed as part of routine product maintenance. Contact submissions linked to this browser identifier are also deleted by that control. StackOZ does not use this data to build an advertising profile.

Delete data linked to this browser

This removes saved comparisons, generated decision files, usage events, and the random browser identifier on this device.
